Born from tatamiberi, the traditional woven fabric used for the edges of Japanese tatami mats, Marica is a spherical handbag that embodies the spirit of Tradition & Creation. Each piece fuses the refinement of heritage craftsmanship with a modern sensibility.

The black-and-white same-komon (sharkskin) pattern — believed to ward off misfortune and protect the wearer — is a classic motif of good fortune. Its fine dotted weave catches the light at every angle, creating a quiet, living depth and dimension.
