SAYACA Seigaiha (Wave Pattern)
SAYACA Seigaiha (Wave Pattern)
Endlessly repeating waves represent lasting peace, good fortune, and continuity.
Tatami-beri is a traditional Japanese textile originally woven to edge and decorate tatami mats. Woven in Kojima, Kurashiki, Okayama, it is distinguished by the delicate, dimensional patterns of jacquard weaving, its subtle sheen, and lasting durability.
A built-in magnet holds your knife securely inside the case. The case is designed to remain usable even as repeated sharpening gradually reduces the size of the blade.
From sewing the outer cover to crafting the inner core, each case is carefully made in Japan and shipped from Osaka.
Each case is made to order. Please allow approximately two weeks for production. Shipping is capped at the rate for five knives, so there is no additional shipping charge for the sixth knife or any knife thereafter.
Some blade materials are not magnetic and may not be held by the magnet. This product contains a neodymium magnet. Keep it away from pacemakers and other medical devices, as well as magnetic cards.
Because SAYACA has a tapered inner core, fit depends on the shape and thickness of the blade as well as its measurements. Some knives may not fit even when their measurements are within the stated limits. If you are unsure whether your knife will fit, please contact us before placing your order.
